Penalties Issued by The BG Products Southern Sprint Car Series Event on October 14, 2017 @ Citrus County Speedway
Tampa, FL 10/14/2017 – The following penalties have been issued following the event on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Citrus County Speedway
–Shane Bulter and the #18 Bulter Motorsports Team– driver has been suspended from ALL competition for balance of the 2017 racing season following the incident on October 14, 2017 for his actions of Unsportsmanlike conduct, Rough Driving, actions unbecoming a driver, destruction of an officials private property (slammed the door to the Boyer RV bending the trailer door and breaking the Mini Blind). His actions were deemed to be detrimental to the sport of Sprint Car racing and The BG Products Southern Sprint Car Series.
Shane Butler and the #18 Butler Motorsports teams suspension will continue after the 2017 until a $200.00 fine for repairs to the Boyer property are paid in full to the SERIES.
–Sport Allen– driver of the #88 Sprint Car has been fined $200.00 and placed on probation for the balance of the 2017 season for going to another competitors pit area,
His actions were deemed to be detrimental to the sport of Sprint Car racing and The BG Products Southern Sprint Car Series
–John Inman-driver of the #59x Sprint Car has been issued a verbal warning for aggressive driving and placed on probation. Any further issue’s with aggressive driving may result in further penalties.
